Since I’ve launched Some of a Kind and joined The Club Preloved, I have become much more conscious of how I shop, and this year I’ve challenged myself not to buy any new clothes for me or my daughter, and my husband has decided to join in too. There are enough clothes on the planet to clothe the next 6 generations, and over 100 billion items of clothing are made a year, which is a shocking statistic and one that obviously isn’t going to change overnight until more people think about buying second-hand ahead of new.
With that in mind I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite finds since starting my sustainable journey, I hope you enjoy discovering them.
Hazy Made
Full disclosure, this is my mum’s business, but I couldn’t not include her in my round up! She takes preloved jackets and turns them into the most amazing pieces, using her lifelong collection of vintage fabric, paired carefully with each jacket. Each piece is totally one-of-a-kind and is designed to be fun and fabulous!

Kate curates a conscious selection of timeless pieces on her website, all with one thing in common - the colour black. A genius idea, to take away the pressure of trends and fast fashion, and provide a preloved selection of brands which are eco-conscious, no fast fashion here!

Kida-Majig
When you’re looking for kids clothes, sometimes Vinted just doesn’t cut it, the endless scrolling only for a stained item to turn up!
